My Goal: I want you to be able to experience some good ol’ lip-smackin, knee-slappin BBQ. The best BBQ has always been found at those little country stores (with their smoke shack out back) that can feed the whole neighborhood. Or you might just stumble upon a small roadside shack offering “vittles” for those passing by. Or perhaps you’ve tried your “cue” in some back woods, off the beaten path joint that can be found all over the South. All of these places are known for making their own sauces out of simple ingredients. For example, some sauces use cola, where others drop a flavor bomb by means of fine Tennessee sipping Whiskey, Jack Daniels (ironically distilled in a dry county)! I want take you back in time and bring you this kind of BBQ – authentic, genuine flavors of the South. So loosen up your belt, take a seat, and get ready for some mighty fine eatin.
